No place no pay

  1. Prospective first year students who have applied to attend a University or a Higher Education Institution in any of the cities in which Unite Students operates, with entry in September 2018, and who book a room with Unite Students, will be eligible to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if, as a result of not achieving the required A-Level, Scottish Higher (or equivalent) results, they do not gain a place at their chosen university.
  2. Only new customers, who have never lived with Unite Students, are eligible to receive this offer. The offer will be available until all rooms the subject of this offer have been booked or until Unite Students confirms the offer is no longer available, whichever is the earlier.
  3. Subject to rooms being available, customers will automatically become eligible for this offer if they are applying for university entry for September 2018 and book a room directly with Unite Students for the 2018/19 academic year. Rooms can be booked online at www.unitestudents.com, by calling the Unite Students National Contact Centre on 0300 303 8645, or at a Unite Students property.
  4. If a customer does not gain a place at their chosen University or College and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Unite Students with evidence of their withdrawal no later than 7 days after their exam results day. Customers waiting for Scottish Higher (SQA) results, released on 7 August 2018, must provide evidence by 8:00pm on 14 August 2018. Customers waiting for A-Level (GCE) or equivalent results, released on 16 August 2018, must provide evidence by 8:00pm on 23 August 2018. This offer is no longer valid once the tenancy start date has passed.
  5. Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the University/College/UCAS, proof the required results were not achieved, or a screen shot of the customer’s UCAS status. Evidence can be emailed to uscancellations@unitestudents.com or posted to Cancellation Requests, Unite Students, South Quay House, Temple Back, Bristol, BS1 6FL.
  6. All customers who do not apply to be released from their Tenancy Agreement by the stated cut-off date and in accordance with the conditions set out above will be bound by the terms and conditions and cancellation policy set out in the Tenancy Agreement.
  7. This offer is also available to prospective first year students who have met and exceeded the conditions of their firm choice but have chosen to go through the UCAS adjustment process to reconsider where and what to study. These customers will be eligible to be released from their Tenancy Agreement if they provide evidence of application to the Adjustment process and acceptance into a different University. Evidence must be provided by 8:00pm on 23 August 2018.

No visa no pay

  1.   2. Only new customers, who have never lived with Unite Students, are eligible to receive this offer. The offer will be available until all rooms the subject of this offer have been booked or until Unite Students confirms the offer is no longer available, whichever is the earlier.
  3. Subject to rooms being available, customers will automatically become eligible for this offer if they are applying for university entry for September 2018 and book a room directly with Unite Students for the 2018/19 academic year. Rooms can be booked online at www.unitestudents.com, by calling the Unite Students National Contact Centre on 0300 303 8645, or at a Unite Students property.
  4. If a customer does not gain their required UK Student Visa and wishes to be released from their Tenancy Agreement, they must provide Unite Students with evidence of their declined visa application no later than 8:00pm on 23 August 2018.
  5. Evidence can be a written rejection letter, proof the required visa was not awarded, or a screen shot of the customer’s visa status. Evidence can be emailed to uscancellations@unitestudents.com or posted to Cancellation Requests, Unite Students, South Quay House, Temple Back, Bristol, BS1 6FL.
