King Street Exchange is situated just across the road from Aberdeen University and its thriving Students' Union. It also has a bus stop right outside for quick access to Robert Gordon University's Garthdee campus and the city centre. The property is in the perfect location for local shopping, entertainment, takeaways and nightlife so you’ll never be far from the action!

Facilities at King Street Exchange

Our friendly reception will be open 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located by reception. Machines are operated with the Unite Students Laundry app.
Parking is available at King Street Exchange. You can book a space with the team at reception  at the time of booking or after you arrive and parking is paid for each term at £10 per week. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis. 
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at King Street Exchange - if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
General waste, mixed waste and food waste recycling are all disposed of at King Street Exchange.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Monday at 11:30am. Your fire assembly point is located at the end of the car park.
Key Type
You will be met at reception where you will receive your contactless key fob on arrival, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Important information for check-in day at King Street Exchange

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key fob.

Where can I park and unload my car?

Parking is located on site as a drop off service with a maximum stay of 15 to 20 minutes. As parking is limited, customers are asked to unload and then move their car to the street parking on School Road.

When can I move into King Street Exchange?

You can move in at any point between the start of your tenancy and up to four weeks later. Got an Android or iOS phone? Tell us when you plan to arrive in the free MyUnite app.
Download the app, select Check-in day from the main menu, and choose your preferred date and time. Not sure when your tenancy starts? Your start date is displayed in the app as you go through this process.
Need to change your arrival date or time? Just go back to the app and edit your choices. And don't worry if you get delayed on moving day, we’ll get you settled whenever you arrive.
