Waverley House is very close to all main bus services and a 15 minute walk to the University of Bristol. Located on the beautiful harbourside with two other Unite Students properties you’ll benefit from having access to the communal facilities across all three sites. The popular King Street is just around the corner where you’ll find the famous Old Vic theatre and an array of places to eat, drink and experience the vibrant Bristol nightlife.

Facilities at Waverley House

Our friendly reception will be open 8am - 8pm Monday to Sunday.
Common Room
Students have access to the common room in The Rackhay which is located across the road. This includes a TV, pool table, table football, ping pong, sofas and a cinema room. Waverley House has a separate study room.
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor next to the lifts. Machines are operated through the MyUnite app.
Outside Space
The property is on the Harbourside with places to sit along the waterfront.
There is no parking available on site throughout the year. There is an NCP car park underneath Waverley House and on street parking available outside of the property.
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at The Rackhay (across the road from Waverley House) – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
Students are provided with recycling bins in their flats and common areas. Please take care not to contaminate with different types of refuse.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 1:30pm. Your fire assembly point is located at the war memorial on the Welshback.
Key Type
You will receive a key card on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.

Important information for check-in day at Waverley House

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key card.

Where can I park and unload my car?

Parking is located on site as a 10 minute drop off service. As parking is limited, customers are asked to unload and then move their car to NCP, Queen Charlotte Street, Bristol BS1 4ES.

When can I move into Waverley House?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your tenancy start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.
You will be required to book an arrival slot through the University of Bristol website, the university will contact you about this. If you are going to be arriving much later than the start of your tenancy, just let us know and we will arrange for someone to be there to greet you and make sure you get the keys to your new home. If you are planning to move in outside of our reception opening hours, please contact our emergency contact centre on 0300 303 1611.
