There's plenty of affordable ways to get around Glasgow using public transport. First Glasgow operate buses around the city and a subway is also available. If you're travelling further afield, Glasgow Central train station makes connecting with cities like Edinburgh and Manchester simple. It's easy to travel abroad from Glasgow too, with Glasgow Airport around 30 minutes away by bus.
Aside from facilities on campus, you can expect to find plenty of gyms in and around Glasgow, from local to national gyms including PureGym. If you like watching live sport, then a visit to one of the city's three major football stadiums is an absolute must.
Glasgow is a great city for shopping, with plenty of independent shops and boutiques as well as national chains. You'll find all the big brand names in Glasgow's Style Mile, which features malls, designer stores and boutiques. There's plenty of choice when it comes to food shopping too, with Tesco Express and Morrisons supermarkets within reach.
