Broadcasting Tower is an award-winning landmark building with large contemporary studio apartments and stylishly designed 5-bedroom flats. It sits within Leeds Beckett University campus and is a short walk away from the University of Leeds. Just along the road you will find Leeds city centre including many of its best pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants. A fantastic choice of accommodation.

Facilities at Broadcasting Tower

Reception
Our friendly reception will be open Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm.
Common Room
Broadcasting Tower has a bright common room with a widescreen TV, pool table and sofas for chilling out. Look out for our fun packed events and quiz nights!
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor. Machines are operated through the MyUnite app.
Outside Space
There is a seating area with benches.
Parking
There is no parking available at Broadcasting Tower. Woodhouse Lane car park is less than 5 minutes away.
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at Broadcasting Tower – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday between 1pm - 1.30pm. Your fire assembly point is located outside the Dry Dock Pub.
Key Type
You will receive a metal key and fob on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Emergencies
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Information for check-in day at Broadcasting Tower

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a metal key and fob.

Where can I park and unload my car?

Parking for unloading is available and limited to 10 minutes. The Woodhouse Lane car park is five minutes away from the property. Take the first right turn out of Broadcasting Tower and stay in the left lane to access the car park. A two hour stay costs £2.

When can I move in?

You can move in at any point between the start of your tenancy and up to four weeks later. Got an Android or iOS phone? Tell us when you plan to arrive in the free MyUnite app.
Download the app, select Check-in day from the main menu, and choose your preferred date and time. Not sure when your tenancy starts? Your start date is displayed in the app as you go through this process.
Need to change your arrival date or time? Just go back to the app and edit your choices. And don't worry if you get delayed on moving day, we’ll get you settled whenever you arrive.
