Jennens Court is ideally located in the heart of the city with easy access to all universities – perfect for making the most of student life in Birmingham. Aston University is just a 5 minute walk away, whilst Birmingham City University city centre campus is a 10 minute walk. BCU North Campus and The University of Birmingham can be reached within 25 minutes on the bus or train. You can grab the essentials at the Simply Fresh convenience store attached to the building. Plus, there are numerous small supermarkets all within 15 minutes’ walk of Jennens Court, including two Tesco’s and a Sainsbury's.

Facilities at Jennens Court

Our friendly reception will be open 8:00am - 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Saturday.
Common Room
The common room has free pool, a football table, sofas, a TV and Study area.
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located on level 1. Machines are operated with the Unite Students Laundry app, which can be downloaded onto your mobile device.
Outside Space
Jennens Court has a small courtyard with benches.
Parking is not available at Jennens Court. Local parking is available at Millenium Point (please note this is locked between 12am and 6am.)
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at Jennens Court – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
Recycling facilities are available at Jennens Court. Please take care not to contaminate with different types of refuse.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Monday at 2pm. Your fire assembly point is located at the bottom of Grosvenor Street opposite Birmingham Academy.
Key Type
You will receive a key and fob on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Important information for check-in day at Jennens Court

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key and fob.

Where can I park and unload my car?

Parking is located on site as a drop off service on check-in day with a 15 minute maximum stay. As parking is limited, customers are asked to unload and then move their car to Millennium Point Pay & Display Car Park.

When can I move into Jennens Court?

You can move in at any point between the start of your tenancy and up to four weeks later. Got an Android or iOS phone? Tell us when you plan to arrive in the free MyUnite app.
Download the app, select Check-in day from the main menu, and choose your preferred date and time. Not sure when your tenancy starts? Your start date is displayed in the app as you go through this process.
Need to change your arrival date or time? Just go back to the app and edit your choices. And don't worry if you get delayed on moving day, we’ll get you settled whenever you arrive.
