If you're looking for accommodation on a budget, the areas slightly outside of the city centre tend to be more affordable.

Lenton and Nottingham city centre are generally Nottingham's busiest student neighbourhoods. The University of Nottingham's central campus and most the university's student halls are located in Lenton. This area has plenty of bars, pubs, and shops that cater to students. The city centre on the other hand is always full of life. Public transport in and around Nottingham is a cheap and easy way for students to get around.
