Conveniently placed near the town centre, Manor Bank is close to all amenities and facilities for students as well as being a few minutes to Northumbria East Campus and 14 minutes’ walk to Newcastle University campus. The nearest metro station is approximately four minutes' walk away, providing good transport links to the rest of Newcastle. The beautiful River Tyne is only six minutes away and being close to town, students can take advantage of Newcastle’s bustling nightlife!

Facilities at Manor Bank

Our friendly reception will be open Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday 8am - 4pm.
Common Room
The common room includes a pool table, TV, seating areas and vending machine. There is also a study room.
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located on the first floor. Machines are operated through the MyUnite app.
Outside Space
There is a decking area with table tennis and outdoor seating with a barbeque available on request.
Customer parking is not available at Manor Bank, but there are plenty of pay and display car parks (Quayside and Manors multi-storey car parks) in the surrounding area. Parking is available at our Camden Court property a short distance away.
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at Manor Bank – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
The bin store is on level 0. Recycling bins are provided in each flat and in the main bin area.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Wednesday at 10:30am. Your fire assembly point is located at the top of Camden Bank at the gates.
Key Type
You will receive a key fob on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Information for check-in day at Manor Bank

Where do I collect my key? 

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key fob.

Where can I park and unload my car? 

Customers are allocated a 15 minute check-in slot where they are able to park their car for free in the front courtyard area. Additional parking is available at Manors (NE1 2BN) and Quayside (NE1 2AQ).

When can I move in?

You can move in at any point between the start of your tenancy and up to four weeks later. Got an Android or iOS phone? Tell us when you plan to arrive in the free MyUnite app.
Download the app, select Check-in day from the main menu, and choose your preferred date and time. Not sure when your tenancy starts? Your start date is displayed in the app as you go through this process.
Need to change your arrival date or time? Just go back to the app and edit your choices. And don't worry if you get delayed on moving day, we’ll get you settled whenever you arrive.
