Information for check-in day

Where do I collect my key?

You will receive a key card and key fob on arrival at reception, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.

Where can I park and unload my car?

There is no on-site parking available for check-in but you can unload belongings for 10 minutes.

When can I move in?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.

Common room
Students have access to the common room in The Rackhay, which is located across the road. This includes a TV, pool table, foosball, ping pong, sofas and a cinema room. Waverley House also has a common room with sofas, bean bangs and a TV, located on the first left hand door as you enter the building.

Study space
There is no study space in Waverley House, but students are welcome to use the study spaces in Favell House and The Rackhay.

Laundry facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor next to the lifts. Machines are operated through the Circuit Plus app.

Outside space
The property is on the Harbourside, so there is plenty of seating along the waterfront.

Parking
There is no parking available on-site throughout the year. There is an NCP car park underneath Waverley House and on-street parking available outside the property.

Bike storage
Bike storage is available at The Rackhay (across the road from Waverley House). If you are planning on bringing your bike, please remember to bring your own bike lock.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are available in the bin store on the right hand side of Waverley House by the main entrance. There are general waste, mixed recycling and glass recycling facilities located in the bin store.

We also have British Heart Foundation charity donation points, food banks, food waste and battery recycling facilities. Please keep an eye out for these in the main reception and common room areas.

Fire test time and meeting point
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 2pm. Your fire assembly point is located at the Bristol Merchant Seafarers monument next to the waterfront.
