Classic en-suite rooms at The Old Fire Station have single beds and are 5 metres x 2.5 metres in size. Your wet room is conveniently equipped with everything you would expect in a normal en-suite but with the benefit of no restrictive shower cubicle.

Many of the city’s most popular areas are within walking distance, or you can hop on a bus from right outside the property to access other areas of the city. The bus stop from The Old Fire Station goes to Aberdeen University and Robert Gordon University.
Aberdeen University Students’ Union is just a short bus ride away from The Old Fire Station. The Union Bar, one of the most popular student venues in the city, is a great place to start your night out. The bar holds regular theme nights, comedy gigs, and live music.
Across the road from The Old Fire Station is a large Morrisons supermarket, plus a number of small shops including a 24-hour newsagent, the Ice-Cream Shop café, a fish and chip shop, Pizza Hut and an Indian grocery.
A short five-minutes walk into the town centre, you’ll find a range of great bars and pubs as well as many student-friendly nightclubs.
If you’re looking to stock up, head down to the Beach Boulevard retail park where you’ll find a huge ASDA megastore and many more shops with everything you’ll need to last you through the term!
It’s just a quick walk into town from The Old Fire Station, where you’ll find popular student bars like Revolution and Triple Kirks. These pubs are particularly popular in the summer with their beer gardens and live Sky Sports. Also nearby is arguably Aberdeen’s number 1 student pub; The Bobbin, which is just down the road on King Street.
Duthie Park is situated on the riverside and close to The Old Fire Station, and is a popular destination for students, especially on sunny days.
