Studio 58 is in a great city centre location, ideal for making the most of Bristol student life.
Cabot Circus shopping centre is just a 10-minute walk away, with over 120 high-street shops, department stores and restaurants. The adjoining Broadmead high street has all the shops, banks and cafés you could need.
Gloucester Road and Park Street are also close by and offer quirky independent shops while St Nicholas’s market is the perfect place to browse the stalls and grab some lunch.
The Harbourside contains many of the city's top attractions, as well as waterfront bars, restaurants and cheap eats. Head to the Welsh Back area of the Harbourside for floating bars, restaurants and cider pubs.
If you’re looking for nightlife, Park Street, Gloucester Road and Corn Street offer a wealth of pubs, bars, clubs, live music and student nights. No matter what type of music you prefer Bristol can offer a great night out.
There are several cinemas within walking distance including the Odeon and the new Showcase Cinema De Lux at Cabot Circus, where you watch films in the director’s suite!
For days or nights when you just want to chill with your mates and fancy a bit of ten pin bowling, the Lanes in Bristol is a popular place to do so. With a quirky feel it’s not your average bowling alley. The Lanes combine the fun of bowling in a great venue, complete with pizzeria, lane side bar serving craft beers and hard shakes, plus they host a range of fun events including band nights and offer a private karaoke room.

There’s always something going on in Bristol, from festivals to huge pop-up water slides, there’s a wealth of attractions to choose from.
On a sunny day you can head to one of the many parks in the city such as Castle Park, Queen Square and The Downs. The parks are often host to events throughout the year so keep an eye out for the latest events. Park Street is also a great venue for pop-up attractions and was recently the host of a huge waterside and pop-up park.
Bristol loves festivals and hosts a graffiti festival, food festival and music festivals such as Love Saves the Day and Bristol Harbour Festival. Experience carnival fever at the St Pauls Carnival or watch hundreds of Hot Air Balloons float over the city at the International Balloon Fiesta.
Art culture and music play a big part in Bristol. You’ll spot famous graffiti from the world famous street artist Banksy across the city and can visit exhibitions at the M Shed, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and the Arnolfini.
The historical landmarks the Clifton Suspension Bridge and SS Great Britain attract tourists to Bristol Each year, while the Bristol Hippodrome, Colston Hall and Bristol Old Vic venues attract music and theatre lovers.
 
Getting Active
Bristol is a very active city and offers a range of sports facilities and activities from local swimming pools, gyms, bike riding/ running routes, and exercise classes. Bristol is home to two football clubs: Bristol City FC and Bristol Rovers FC.
Studio 58 is within easy reach of both university campuses, meaning you’ll have great access to all campus facilities.

Studio 58 benefits from fantastic transport links. The city’s main bus station is located just a few minutes from the property with buses across Bristol, the South West and to cities across the UK.
Bristol Temple Meads train station is also close by, for trains across the country and to London in an hour and a half.

The city-centre location means you’ll have a large choice of supermarkets, banks, hairdressers and everything you need within a 10-minute walk.

The Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) is just a few minutes’ walk from the property. The BRI is a teaching hospital with close links with the University of Bristol. The Bristol dental hospital is also close by.
