With 334 students calling it home, The Bakery (previously known as Taff House) sits on the banks of the River Taff and is less than a 10-minute walk to Cardiff Central train station and the vibrant city centre.

Choose an en-suite room and you’ll benefit from having your own bathroom, plus a shared kitchen area that comes fully equipped with appliances. Want more privacy? Our studios give you the chance to have a living space all to yourself, including a kitchen, bathroom, bed and study desk.

Outside of your flat, you’ll find a communal area with comfortable seating, which is perfect for getting to know your neighbours, plus an outdoor courtyard for you to use on sunny days.

Cardiff University and the University of South Wales are both less than 30 minutes away by foot, while all other higher education campuses are easily reachable by bus. Being so close to the city centre, you’ll also have access to a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants - perfect for those odd days off.
