Social Scenes
The property is located just down the road from Broadgate which has recently been redeveloped and is home to some fab restaurants such as Las Iguanas, Nandos, Wagamamas and Cosy Club. Broadgate is also home to a huge Primark, Starbucks and other high street shops.
 
Millennium View is also a 5-minute walk to Coventry’s large West Orchards shopping centre, with a large Debenhams, as wells as lots of other stores and a food court with around 10 places to eat.
 
Right next door in the other direction and you have even more bars and restaurants at Priory Place. And a bit further down the road you have the large Coventry Sports centre with an Olympic size pool and diving boards to burn off all that food!
 
Millennium View is also about 10-minute walk from Coventry’s largest and most popular club, The Kasbah. 
What
Just opposite your new home is the fantastic Coventry Transport Museum. It’s free admission all year round as well as them having some great events such as an outdoor cinema.
 
Coventry’s famous and beautiful Cathedral is also right on your door step; you can also climb to the top of the spire to see the whole of Coventry which is a great experience!
 
Coventry is close to lots of very picturesque areas, including Shakespeare’s home, Stratford-upon-Avon. Kenilworth with its fantastic annual fireworks display not to be missed, as well as the very famous Warwick castle. All of these attractions are really easy to access by buses caught from the bus station just across from Millennium so it’s the perfect new home for people who love to explore the wider area.
Getting Active
Coventry Sports Centre with an Olympic size pool, diving boards, gym and classes is just down the road. There is also a Pure Gym and JD Gym around 5 minutes’ walk away.
 
The large University sports hall is only around 5 minutes away too which is where lots of the Coventry University sports teams meet for practices too.
 
As you are located right next to the bus station, the Ricoh Arena is also easily accessible on the number 4 bus. This is home to the Wasps rugby team as well as having large music events occasionally too.

Close and convenient

Travel and Transport
The city’s large bus station is right across the road from Millennium View so there are great links to all of Coventry, as well as to Warwick, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham. This is really handy, especially if you have a course which requires you to do a placement which will likely be outside of the city centre.
 
National Express buses also leave from here so perfect for popping home in the holidays too!
 
The train station is about a 15-minute walk away; from there the NEC is only 9 minutes with loads of events all through the year.
Local Essentials
Sainsbury’s local is right next door. Or if you want more choice, catch a number 4 bus from the station opposite the property and you can get to the largest Tesco in Europe at the Ricoh Arena Shopping Park!
 
All the banks are grouped closely together and are just up the road, less than 10 minutes away.
Your Wellbeing
The University doctors is located in The Hub which is around 5 minutes away from Millennium View.
 
Coventry’s out of hours NHS walk in centre is just up the road around 10 minutes away, the sexual health clinic is also located in the same building.
 
Student services at the University is the place to go for all your wellbeing and financial needs, this is located by the University Library and is approximately 10 minutes’ walk away.
