The Priory - Leeds

The Priory - Leeds

Springfield Mount, LS2 9NG

Situated on a quiet cobbled street within the University of Leeds campus, the Priory is a converted Edwardian monastery that’s full of history, character, and incredible spaces to feel at home. Studying at Leeds Beckett or Leeds Arts? They’re both a 15-minute walk away.

With just 76 other students living here, the Priory has a community feel that will help you settle in to your new city. Every room comes with its own bathroom. Choose an en-suite to share your kitchen and lounge with flatmates, or a studio if you’d prefer to live independently.

We love the original features of this beautiful old building. Stone doorways, fireplaces and staircases, leaded windows, wooden beams, ironclad oak doors - they’ve all been lovingly-preserved so that every room and corridor is a unique slice of history.

But it’s the common room that really takes the breath away. Set in the former priory’s chapel, this is your space to study, relax on a sofa in front of the TV, or play pool - all beneath 100-year-old arched wooden beams and striking stained glass windows.

If you’re studying at the University of Leeds, you’ll be living on-campus - just minutes away from lectures, cafes, the student union, and everything else dedicated to you. Leeds city centre is only a 10-minute walk away, and Leeds train station is just 15 minutes further.

Perfect for Postgrads

2021/22 rooms at The Priory are perfect for postgraduates.

Ideally suited to those seeking quieter accommodation, postgrads can enjoy dedicated study and outdoor spaces, independent living and spacious studios.
