Quantum Court is just around the corner from Shadwell Station, from which you can access some of the most vibrant student areas in London, such as Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Hoxton.
For bars, pubs and restaurants, Mile End Road is just a short trip north from the property and has a range of student-friendly shops and eateries.
There are local shops available just around the corner from the property. Watney Street, next to Shadwell Station, has a number of convenience stores, takeaways and a pharmacy.
What
Quantum Court is in an excellent location just a short walk from the River Thames. The riverside paths are perfect for jogging along the Thames, and there are a number of local parks to enjoy.
King Edward VII Memorial Park is just around the corner and provides picturesque green areas as well as tennis courts, all on the side of the riverbank. Other local outdoor spaces worth visiting include Wapping Woods and St George’s East Churchyard Gardens, both just a couple of minutes from Quantum Court.
Just a short journey across the river via the Rotherhithe Tunnel takes you to Southwark Park, with its attractive parkland and wooded areas and Southwark Park sports complex.
Getting Active
There are public tennis courts at King Edward VII Memorial Park, just around the corner from Quantum Court. Shadwell Basin outdoor activity centre, just across the road from the property, offers canoeing and sailing.
On Watney Street, next to Shadwell station, there is a boxing gym. A short journey from the property, John Orwell Sports Centre offers outdoor football pitches and a martial arts centre.

Travel and Transport
Shadwell station is less than five minutes’ walk from Quantum Court and offers quick access to Bank, Shoreditch, Hoxton and Islingon. Whitechapel station is just 15 minutes’ walk away with access to the District, Hammersmith and City lines.
There are excellent bus links in the local area which cover large areas of London. The number 15 goes from Poplar to Regent Street; the 10 service from Shadwell to Elephant & Castle; the 115 from East Ham to Aldgate; the 135 to Old Street; and the 339 from Stratford to Shadwell.
