About The Forge

Located just south of the city centre in the Highfield area, the Forge is home to over 1,000 students - making it a vibrant choice for student accommodation in Sheffield.

We have a wide range of rooms available at the Forge, from en-suite rooms in shared flats to self-contained, private studios. Check out the room options to find the right one for you.

On the ground floor, you’ll find your common room. Unwind after a hard day of study with a game of pool, ping pong, or table football. Sink into a sofa in front of the TV, or work up a sweat in the gym. It’s all for you, and it’s all free.

The Forge is only half a mile from Sheffield city centre, which is a 15-minute walk. It’s the same distance from here to Sheffield Hallam University’s City and Collegiate campuses, and you can walk to the University of Sheffield in just 20 minutes.

You’ll find a large Aldi supermarket just across the road - perfect for getting your groceries on a student budget. And Bramall Lane stadium is right here too, home to Sheffield United Football Club.
