London Student Accommodation Study

At Unite Students, we are passionate about providing a home for students that not only meets their basic needs but, almost more importantly, can provide the inspiration and platform for students to progress and get a head start in their career.
This is summarised by our core purpose ‘Home for Success’ which, as a provider of accommodation throughout the year, also means supporting students between terms.
We recently conducted a YouGov poll to examine the extent to which students, not just Unite Students customers, but those from across the UK, consider staying at their university town or city during the holidays.
The findings show an increase in students citing accommodation as more convenient/cost effective when comparing current with past students, and also reveal that more students have summer jobs than ex-students ever did.
However, there are still 46% of current students who will not be considering staying at their University location over the summer.
Unite Students are passionate about the opportunities available to all our students over the summer and one way of highlighting that is via new projects such as the London Student Experience which takes place this August.
You can also read about things to do at your accommodation location on our Living with Us section.
