Where do I collect my key?

You'll receive a fob on arrival at the property which you can collect from the marquee beside the building. This will give you access to your flat, room and communal areas.

Where can I park and unload my car?

There is limited parking available for check-in. You can park to unload belongings for a maximum of 15 minutes.

When can I move in?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.

Reception
The main reception is located on Aston street, next to Costa Coffee and opposite Aston University Main Building.

Common room
The common room for all blocks of James Watt is located in Block B1 on the ground floor. The common room has table tennis, a foosball table, sofa, a TV and a vending machine.

Study space
A study room is located on the ground floor of B1 in James Watt.

Laundry facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor of Block B1 in James Watt. You’ll need to download the Circuit Plus app to be able to access the laundry machines.

Outside space
James Watt is located adjacent to Aston University's open landscaped campus.

Parking
Parking is not available at James Watt.

Bike storage
Bike storage is available at James Watt. It is located between Block B1 and B2. If you are planning on bringing your bike, please remember to bring your own bike lock.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are available at James Watt. The Bin Shed is located between Block B1 and B2.

Fire test time
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Thursday at 3pm. Your fire assembly point is located outside the main University building near the fountain.
