Are you looking to harness your chi and find the ultimate video tutorial on International Yoga Day? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

International Yoga Day is all about raising awareness of the benefits of practising yoga. Held on the longest day of the year (21st June), it truly highlights how this graceful form of exercise can change your life for the better.

And from the physical benefits to its positive impact on mental wellness, it’s become increasingly popular over recent years, particularly as people become more focused on their personal wellbeing.

If you’re new to the practice, though, it can be easy to become overwhelmed by the number of videos and classes out there. From hot yoga to laughing yoga, there really is something for everyone.

The good news is that I’ve dug out five YouTube videos to help get you started on the road to peace-inducing yoga-dom. And you don’t need to be a flexible ninja to do it.

What are you waiting for?

1.  Yoga for Complete Beginners - Yoga With Adriene

Adriene is essentially the queen of online yoga tutorials – so you’ll spot a couple of her videos on this list!

If you’ve never done yoga before, though, her Yoga for Complete Beginners might be just the one for you. This gentle video is all about kicking things off with the basics, so you don’t get put off as a first-timer.

2.  After Workout Yoga - Boho Beautiful

While yoga can be a great form of exercise, for some people, it might not be their favourite way to get in shape and work off those exam frustrations.

The good news is that you can use yoga as a good post-workout cool down, too, so you don’t end up with achy muscles in the morning. Boho Beautiful’s short video is a great way to slow things day after a long run or extra brutal HIIT workout.

3.  30-Minute Power Vinyasa Flow with Briohny Smyth - Alo Yoga

If you’re more about pushing your body hard than easing yourself in, try taking on this 30-minute vinyasa flow with Briohny Smyth.

This one is all about engaging your core – and, if you’re experienced enough (which I can’t emphasise enough), there’s even the chance to try your hand at a headstand

4.  Ease Into It - Yoga With Adriene

If you’re less about burning energy and more about finding balance, this could be the yoga workout for you.

This flow is all about checking in with the body and mind, with a cue to follow Adriene on a 30-day experience after.

5.  10-Minute Morning Yoga Full Body Stretch - Yoga with Kassandra

If time isn’t on your side, or you just want to wake up feeling good, try this 10-minute yoga session with Kassandra.

It’s the perfect way to wake your body up and get ready for a big day, especially if you’re currently stressing about exam season.
