How can I keep warm in my flat when the power is out?

It’s important to try and stay inside during an outage and keep all your windows and doors shut to retain heat. Wrap up warm in a jumper or blanket, and wearing a hat, scarf & gloves can help.

It’s even more important that you don’t use any candles or open flames in the building to try and stay warm, as these are a large fire risk.
