Common room
Students have access to the common room in The Rackhay, which is located across the road. This includes a TV, pool table, ping pong, sofas and a cinema room. Favell House has a separate study room.

Laundry facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor next to the lifts. Machines are operated through the Circuit Plus app.

Outside space
The property is on the harbourside and there is plenty of seating along the waterfront.

Parking
There is no parking available on-site throughout the year. There is an NCP car park underneath Waverley House (opposite Favell House) and on-street parking available outside the property.

Bike storage
Bike storage is at The Rackhay - just over the road from Favell House. Please bring your own bike lock.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are available at Favell House in the bin store on the ground floor. There are general waste, mixed recycling and glass recycling facilities and bins, all clearly marked for use.

We also have British Heart Foundation charity donation points, food banks, food waste and battery recycling facilities. Please keep an eye out for these in the main reception and common room areas. Please take care not to contaminate bins with the wrong types of rubbish.

Fire test time and meeting point
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 1pm. Your fire assembly point is located at the war memorial on the Welshback.
