Available for booking via the University of Bristol, UNITE House is located right next to the popular student area of Park Street, just five minutes from the University of Bristol and a five-minute walk from the main city centre. Park Street boasts a great selection of clothes shops, music and record stores and bars and restaurants.

Waverley House is in a great location to experience the best nightlife and events Bristol has to offer. The local area has a great range of cafés, bars and shops all within walking distance, so you never have far to go for a night out.
Bristol has a fantastic range of restaurants, ranging from popular chains to independent hidden gems. Waverley House’s city-centre location means you can walk to hundreds of restaurants in less than 10 minutes. Cabot Circus and Broadmead are 10-minutes’ walk from the property and are home to dozens of restaurants and fast-food outlets.
Many of Bristol’s most popular bars and clubs are just a short walk from Waverley House. The popular student areas of Baldwin Street and Corn Street are just two-minutes’ walk from the property, and home to venues such as Eton, Reflex, Rehab, Walkabout, Wetherspoons and Start The Bus.
Cabot Circus and Broadmead are just 10-minutes’ walk away with over 500 shops and restaurants. Cabot Circus is Bristol’s leading shopping venue, with over 120 retail stores, including flagship stores for House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols and Primark.
The shopping centre also includes a Showcase Cinema De Lux, crazy golf course, and dozens of restaurants including TGI Fridays, Nando's, Giraffe, Yo! Sushi, Frankie and Benny's, and a range of fast-food outlets and upmarket restaurants.

The city benefits from numerous green expanses, perfect for picnics, sunbathing or recreational sport, including Castle Park in the city centre just five minutes from Cabot Circus. Castle Park also hosts numerous events throughout the year, including the popular festival Love Saves The Day.
The Clifton Downs are found at the top of Whiteladies Road and Blackboy Hill, close to the University of Bristol, and host a range of university sports clubs and local sports teams. Ashton Court is a country park with 850 acres of woodland and grassland, and is also home to local events such as the world famous Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
Queen Square is a small city-centre park framed by cobbled streets, found just off Baldwin Street and within five minutes of Waverley House.
Waverley House is also close to many great live music venues, with popular places like The Fleece and the 02 Academy within 10-minutes’ walk.
The city is also home to a range of great museums and exhibitions including the M Shed, the Arnolfini, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, all within 10-minutes’ walk of the property. There are also many local venues hosting international live comedy, theatre and music tours, including Colston Hall, Bristol Hippodrome and the Old Vic, all just a short walk from Waverley House.
Getting Active
Waverley House is just 15-minutes’ walk from the University of Bristol, so all the sports and gym facilities of the campus are within easy reach. UWE’s campus facilities can be reached via the university bus which runs from right outside the property.
The city centre location of Waverley House means you have access to a range of local gyms and sports clubs. Pure Gym (Harbourside), Fitness4Less and The Gym Bristol are all within 10-minutes’ walk of the property. There are numerous other gyms and facilities within walking distance of the property, to which the property team will be happy to direct you.
Sports fans can catch local teams in action, with Bristol City Football Club located in Ashton Gate just a short bus journey from the city centre, or a 40-minute walk. Bristol Rovers FC are found up the Gloucester Road, whilst local Rugby and Cricket teams offer a great range of options. Bath is just 10-minutes’ away on the train, for further sports facilities and professional teams.

Travel and Transport
Bristol Temple Meads train station is just 10-minutes’ walk from Waverley House. The station provides easy access to cities across the UK such as London, Birmingham and Manchester, as well as neighbouring Bath and Cheltenham.
Bristol’s coach station is situated on Marlborough Street, just 15-minutes’ walk from the property. Megabus operate a nationwide, cost-effective coach service from just outside Colston Hall on Colston Street.
Bristol Airport is located just outside the city and can be easily accessed via hourly buses from the city centre, or a short taxi ride. The airport offers good value flights, particularly useful for European city breaks or internal flights to the north of England.
Local Essentials
Waverley House’s city-centre location means you have a wealth of amenities in the local area. There is a Sainsbury’s Local within minutes of the property, as well as many other shops, food outlets and hairdressers in and around Cabot Circus.  
A range of high-street banks are available just 10-minutes’ walk away in the Broadmead shopping area. The Galleries shopping centre, less than 10-minutes’ walk from the property, has a large post office, plus, useful stores such as Boots, Family Bargains and Wilkinsons.
Should you wish to shop at a bigger supermarket, there is a Tesco megastore located on the M32, 10-minutes’ drive from Waverley House, plus a large IKEA.
Your Wellbeing
University of Bristol and UWE offer their students on-site medical care. Students can find details of how to make an appointment via their university website, although the team at Waverley House will be happy to point you in the right direction.
The University of Bristol can be reached in around 15 minutes from the property, and UWE’s campuses can be reached in around 20 minutes on the university bus services.
Aside from campus facilities, The Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) can be reached in a 15-minute walk. The BRI is a teaching hospital and has close links with The University of Bristol, offering experience to many local medical students.
