Shoreditch is just 10 minutes' journey from the property with everything you need to make the most of student living in London. Shoreditch has a wealth of bars, takeaways, restaurants, and clubs that host some of the world’s top DJs. The vibrant arts and entertainment area of Hoxton is also close by, home to a large number of art galleries, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a roof-top cinema.
Islington is just one stop away on the Northern line, or a 20-minute walk. The area has an impressive choice of entertainment from the stylish pubs and bars of Upper Street, live music venues like O2 Academy Islington, The Garage and Union Chapel, and theatres like the Almeida and Sadler's Wells dance theatre. Camden Town is less than 15 minutes' journey away – famous for live music and nightlife at iconic venues like The Roundhouse and KOKO.

You can also attend art exhibitions, theatre performances at the Barbican theatre and film screenings, or visit the library and three restaurants within the centre.
The eighteenth-century St. Luke’s Church is just down the road from East Central House and is host to concerts and seminars throughout the year. There are also a number of green spaces and parks in the area including King’s Square Gardens.
Camden Town is just 15 minutes' journey from the property for London's most popular market, with hundreds of shops and stalls selling everything from fashion to antiques to street food. Camden Lock offers fantastic food and views across Regent’s Canal. You can also take a boat, walk or cycle along Regent’s Canal to Little Venice and Maida Vale.
The Museum Of London – the world's largest urban museum, packed with historic objects and exhibitions telling the story of London's past – is within 10 minutes’ walk of the property.

Finsbury Leisure Centre is just around the corner from East Central House, located on Central Street. The facilities include gym and leisure centre halls, outdoor hockey and football pitches and badminton courts. The venue is host to Finsbury Badminton Club and the London Fencing Club. Otium health and leisure centre is opposite East Central House.
Ironmonger Row Baths leisure facility is also just minutes from East Central House with a swimming pool, large gym and the historic Turkish Baths. 
There are cricket facilities located on City Road, just 10 minutes’ from the property and adjacent to Cass Business School and Finsbury Square Garden.
Arsenal football club’s world-famous Emirates Stadium is just 10 minutes by road – or 15 minutes on the tube – from East Central House.

East Central House is a 10-minute walk from Old Street overground and underground station, where you can catch the Northern line to Angel, King’s Cross St. Pancras, Camden Town, London Bridge and Clapham. Overground rail services can take you to Highbury and Islington, Moorgate and north London.
Barbican station is also just 10 minutes’ walk from East Central House, for Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines to Euston Square, Baker Street, Liverpool Street and Aldgate.
You can also catch the Northern line from Angel station which is just 10 minutes’ walk from the property.
A number of useful bus routes are easily accessible from the property, including the 43 service to London Bridge, the 55 to Oxford Circus, the 205 to Paddington, the 394 to Islington, and the 24-hour 214 service to Liverpool Street.
