The property is in a great location to experience everything London has to offer.
Sidney Webb House is located close to some world famous markets. Borough Market, next to Borough station/opposite London Bridge station, is stocked full of artisan food products and street food of every cuisine. This is a great place for high quality fresh produce and excellent wine traders. Maltby Street Market on Ropewalk is another great food market, full of independent, high-quality traders and Greenwich Market is full of small traders and has an excellent range of gifts.
Borough High Street is also nearby and has a broad range of high street shops. Other popular areas include Hays Galleria which offers boutique shops and restaurants coupled with the elegant design of a renovated Victorian dock and Spitalfields Market, great for vintage or designer clothing. 
Tabard Gardens park is directly outside the residence and Burgess Park, close by, South along the Old Kent Road.
For theatre goers, follow the River Thames eastwards for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. It hosts seasonal Shakespeare and Renaissance plays. In nearby Elephant and Castle, you can visit the Imperial War Museum providing a thorough view of the lives of those who have lived, fought and died in conflict. 
Hayward Gallery and Tate Modern art galleries are also within walking distance on the Southbank.
