Social Scenes
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to pubs and restaurants in Headington. Two minutes' walk up the road you will find local pubs 'The Brittania' and 'Royal Standard' along with a variety of restaurants and takeaways.

Popular pub 'The White Horse' is just a few minutes from the property and main university campus, offering cheap deals all week. The campus also has its own on-site restaurant 'Brookes', famous for its chicken!

If you like more traditional Oxford pubs you can venture into Old Headington to 'The White Hart' or 'The Black Boy'.
We are just one road away from the shark in the roof. This is a famous sculpture depicting a large shark embedded head-first in the roof of a house.

Nearby we have an amazing hill top park called Shot Over. Part of this reserve is named after the famous C.S Lewis. Having grown up in Oxford this is actually where he wrote the famous Chronicles of Narnia. It’s quite hard to find but the beaver tree is located here!
Getting Active
Oxford Brookes University Centre for Sports is on the Headington Campus and offers many activities and facilities to keep you fit. It’s facilities include a gym, indoor climbing wall, basketball court and outdoor hockey and football pitches.
