Trafalgar Hall’s great location means you have easy access to the popular student area Guildhall Walk, where you’ll find most of the city’s nightclubs and pubs. You’ll also find several restaurants, a pharmacy, a drop in medical center and a number of supermarkets nearby.
 
For shopping, Gunwharf Quay is 15 minutes’ walk from the property and is home to over 90 premium retail outlet stores including Nike, Jack Willis and Superdry all offering great value! And when it’s time to relax after a day’s shopping you’ll find a range of bars, coffee shops and restaurants to tempt you.
 
Also at Gunwharf Quay, you’ll find a Vue Cinema, Bowlplex, 24-hour health and fitness club, contemporary art gallery and nightclub.

Soaring 170 metres above Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent, the Emirates Spinnaker Tower is taller than the London Eye and offers great views of the city and surrounding areas.

Getting Active
Portsmouth is a fantastic place to go running, with plenty of scenic paths to adventure right on your doorstep. Greetham Street has easy access to a range of outdoor activities with plenty of green areas and sport facilities, like the Charter Community Sports Centre which is basically next door. If you prefer to spectate then just over a miles stroll will have you watching Portsmouth F.C play a home game at Fratton Park. 
 
Portsmouth University offers a wide range of activities, exercise classes, sports leagues and competitions, and sports-related coaching courses which students can get involved with. There's also the opportunity to join in on one of the many fitness classes on campus including Zumba and circuit training, as well as the facilities to partake in basketball, badminton, table tennis, netball or five-a-side football.

Travel and Transport
Portsmouth and Southsea railway station and the city’s central bus station are both within 10 minutes’ walk of the property. These excellent travel links mean London can be reached within 90 minutes.
 
There is also a ferry port in the city for trips to amazing locations such as Spain, France, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.
