Close to the campuses

We have three University of Sheffield accommodation halls close to both campuses. St Vincent’s Place and Westhill Hall are all located north of the city centre and just a short walk from your library and lecture halls. This is perfect for making those 9 am starts or putting in late study sessions as the pressure cranks up throughout the year. Being close to the city centre means students staying at these halls can also benefit from Sheffield’s best amenities. You’ll find the likes of Primark, JD Sport and the Light Cinema literally over the road.

City centre

In the city centre, we have Archways and Leadmill Point. Their convenient location allows you to take advantage of some of the best the city has to offer its students. Our centrally located University of Sheffield accommodation is close to some of the steel city’s most popular music venues. The O2 Academy and Sheffield City Hall host both local and national talents, perfect for anyone who loves their music. You’ll also find a PureGym over the road offering cheap student deals on monthly memberships and an Aldi within walking distance for all your budget essentials. Sheffield station is less than five minutes away too, perfect for taking short trips home for the weekend.

South of the city centre

South of the city centre is The Anvil, in a popular student district known as Little Sheffield. This busy student area is quieter than the city centre but still has all the essentials you’ll need close by. There is an Aldi, and a huge selection of bars, restaurants and takeaways. The city centre is walking distance away if you’re looking for a little more excitement. All our University of Sheffield accommodation have excellent links around the city, meaning it will always be easy to get to campus, go and see friends or head out on a night out.
