Orchard Heights is one of our newest properties in Bristol. It is located right in the city centre close to the bus station. The University of Bristol is a short walk away. There are lots of pubs and clubs around the city centre and Orchard Heights is close to the Stokes Croft area with the O2 Academy on its doorstep for entertainment.
Here you'll find everything you need to know about your new home and the surrounding area, as well as important information on check-in day, specific to your property.

Facilities at Orchard Heights

Our friendly reception will be open Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm, and 12pm - 8pm Saturday and Sunday.
Common Room
Orchard Heights has 2 common rooms with TVs, pool table, ping pong, sofas, study room and music room.
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located in the common room. Machines are operated through the MyUnite app.
Outside Space
There is an outdoor space with seating areas and ping pong.
Secure parking is available at Unite House which is located next door to Orchard Heights. You can book a parking space when you arrive for the whole year at reception and payment is one initial upfront cost. You will receive a parking permit and allocated space.
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at Orchard Heights – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
Recycling facilities are available at Orchard Heights. Please take care not to contaminate with different types of refuse
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 3pm. Your fire assembly point is located across the road by the Hatchet Pub.
Key Type
You will receive a key and fob on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Important information for check-in day at Orchard Heights

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key card.

Where can I park and unload my car?

Parking is located onsite as a drop off service with 10 minutes maximum stay. As parking is limited, customers are asked to unload and then move their car to the car park on Trenchard Street, West End, BS1 5AN.

When can I move into Orchard Heights?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your tenancy start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.
You will be required to book an arrival slot through the University of Bristol website, the university will be in touch with you about this. If you are going to be arriving much later than the start of your tenancy, just let us know and we will arrange for someone to be there to greet you and make sure you get the keys to your new home. If you are planning to move in outside of our reception opening hours, please contact our emergency contact centre on 0300 303 1611
