Make yourself at home

Unite House is located right next to Park Street and is only a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Park Street boasts a great selection of boutiques, record stores, bars and restaurants, furniture and art galleries all set on the steep hill. The University of Bristol campus is a five minute walk and the University of the West of England is a 20 minute bus journey away. There is an oriental supermarket on the same road as Unite House and Bristol’s O2 Academy is just next door, as well as Bristol’s oldest pub, The Hatchet!

Facilities at Unite House

Reception
Our friendly reception will be open Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm, and 8am - 12pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Common Room
Unite House has a common room which includes a pool table, table tennis, TV and comfy seating where you can relax. There is also a separate study room with a TV point for presentations.
Laundry Facilities
There are two laundry rooms, located at the front of the building next to the bike store and the back of the building by the lift. Machines are operated through the MyUnite app.
Outside Space
There is an outdoor space with seating areas and table tennis tables.
Parking
There is parking available at Unite House. Please speak to the reception team for payment options. Local parking facilities are also available at the NCP car park.
Bike Storage
Bike storage is available at Unite House – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
Recycling
Recycling facilities are available at Unite House. Please take care not to contaminate with different types of refuse.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 2:30pm. Your fire assembly point is located on Frogmore Street outside the Red House.
Key Type
You will receive a key and fob on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Emergencies
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Important information for check-in day at Unite House

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key card.

Where can I park and unload my car?

Parking is located onsite as a drop off service with a 10 minute maximum stay. As parking is limited, customers are asked to unload and then move their car to the car park on Trenchard Street, West End, BS1 5AN.

When can I move into Unite House?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your tenancy start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.
You will be required to book an arrival slot through the UOB website, the university will contact you about this. If you are going to be arriving much later than the start of your tenancy, just let us know and we will arrange for someone to be there to greet you and make sure you get the keys to your new home. If you are planning to move in outside of our reception opening hours, please contact our emergency contact centre on 0300 303 1611
