Information for check-in day

Where do I collect my key?

You will receive a wristband or card on arrival at reception, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.

Where can I park and unload my car?

There is limited parking available for check-in and you'll be able to park to unload belongings for 30 minutes.

When can I move in?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.

Reception
Our friendly reception is shared with Margaret Rule Hall.

Common room
There are a number of relaxation zones in different areas of the building. There is one common room, located on the first floors of Block A, including games areas with table tennis, pool and foosball, plus chillout spaces with sofas and TVs.

Study space
There is a large study room on the 1st floor of Block B, with ethernet ports and desks which have plugs for USB charging.

Gym
There is a gym that is free to use for all residents living in our building. This is open between the hours of 7am - 10pm, and is accessed with a gym membership/key card.

Laundry facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor of Block A. Machines are operated through the Circuit Laundry App.

Parking
There is no parking available at Chaucer House.

Bike storage
The bike store is located at Greetham Street, adjacent to the property with and a key/pass will be required for access. If you are planning on bringing your bike, please remember to bring your own bike lock.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are available at Chaucer House.

Fire test time and meeting point
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 10am. Your fire assembly point is located at Isambard Brunel Car Park opposite Chaucer House.
