There's plenty of affordable ways to get around Coventry using public transport. Various bus companies operate around the city and, if you're travelling further afield, the main Coventry train station makes connecting with cities like London, Manchester and Glasgow simple. It's easy to travel abroad from Coventry too, with Birmingham Airport around 15 minutes away by train.
Aside from facilities on campus, you can expect to find plenty of gyms in and around Coventry, with the University Gym located a short distance from your accommodation. If you like watching live sport, then a visit to the Skydome, home to the Coventry Blaze ice hockey team, is an absolute must.
For the very best shopping selection, head to the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre, where you'll find high street names like H&M and New Look. Or, for something more unusual, head to the Coventry Market, where you can stock up on delicious, fresh and local produce. There's plenty of choice when it comes to food shopping too, with a Sainsbury's supermarket located close to your accommodation.
