Salisbury Court is in an ideal location amidst the popular student hub of Edinburgh. The University of Edinburgh campus is just a short walk away from the property, and so are all the major bus routes. Many of the rooms have amazing views of Arthur’s seat, in Holyrood Park, as well as being close to the historic Royal Mile.
Here you'll find everything you need to know about your new home and the surrounding area, as well as important information on check-in day, specific to your property.

Facilities at Salisbury Court

Our friendly reception will be open 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 5pm on Saturday.
Common Room
The common room at Salisbury Court has a pool table, table football, large screen TV with jumbo steps and tiered seating.
Laundry Facilities
The laundry room is located next to the common room. Machines are operated through the MyUnite app.
Outside Space
There is a large courtyard space with tiered amphitheatre seating, a BBQ area and benches.
There is no on-site parking available. The closest car park is on Parkside Street, off St Leonards Street.
Bike Storage
Bike Storage is available at Salisbury Court – if you are planning on bringing your bike then please remember to bring your own bike lock.
There are general waste, mixed recycling and glass recycling facilities. We also have British Heart Foundation charity donation points as well as food banks and battery recycling.
Fire Test Day
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day and time is Monday between 12pm - 12.30pm.
Key Type
You will receive a key card on arrival at the property, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.
Our Emergency Contact Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call 0300 303 1611 for assistance.

Important information for check-in day at Salisbury Court

Where do I collect my key?

You will need to go to Reception to check-in. Once you have checked in you will receive your key in the form of a key card.

Where can I park and unload my car?

There is no parking onsite however if there is space near the building you can pull up for 5 minutes to drop off belongings however please check with a member of the onsite team first. To allow the other people in the building to drop their belongings off, customers are asked to unload and then move their car to Parkside Terrace.

When can I move in?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your tenancy start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.
If you are going to be arriving much later than the start of your tenancy, just let us know and we will arrange for someone to be there to greet you and make sure you get the keys to your new home. If you are planning to move in outside of our reception opening hours, please contact our emergency contact centre on 0300 303 1611.
