Information for check-in day

Where do I collect my key?

You will receive a key card on arrival at reception, which you can use to access your room and communal areas.

Where can I park and unload my car?

There is no on-site parking available for check-in.

When can I move in?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.

Common room
The common room includes a TV, games console and table tennis, and can be found on the ground floor next to the reception area and main entrance.

Laundry facilities
There is a laundry room in Block 4 and Block 6. Machines are operated through the Circuit Laundry Plus App.

Outside space
There is an outdoor area at the back of the property with benches and a BBQ area.

Parking
There are 8 spaces available on at a cost of £25 per week for full tenancy lengths. Contact glasgow@unitestudents.com to book your space as soon as possible. They are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Bike storage
Outdoor bike storage is available at Blackfriars. You can register your bike with us at reception. Don’t forget to bring a D-lock or a chain for the most secure way of storing your bike.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are available at Blackfriars. Please take care not to contaminate bins with the wrong types of rubbish. Our general waste and recycling bins are situated at the back of our building, next to the car park. We also have British Heart Foundation charity donation points and food banks. Please keep an eye out for these in the laundry and in reception.

Fire test time and meeting point
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 11am. Your fire assembly point is located pavement opposite reception.
