Transport

There's plenty of affordable ways to get around Nottingham using public transport. Various bus companies operate routes around the city and if you're travelling further afield, Nottingham train station makes connecting with cities like Liverpool and Birmingham simple. It's easy to travel abroad from Nottingham too, with Birmingham airport around an hour and a half away by bus.

Sport

Nottingham has the highest concentration of sports facilities, relative to local populuation, in Europe, making it a great place for those who like sport. If you like watching live sport, then a visit to the National Ice Centre, home of the Nottingham Panthers, is an absolute must.

Shopping

Shoppers are spoilt for choice in Nottingham with several shopping centres to choose from. This includes intu Broadmarsh and Victoria shopping centres, where you'll find big brand names like TopShop, John Lewis and Superdry. There's plenty of choice when it comes to food shopping too, with an ASDA supermarket and convenience stores located close to your accommodation.
