Information for check-in day

Where do I collect my key?

You will be met at reception, where you will receive your Key Card on arrival at the property. You can use this to access your room and communal areas.

Where can I park and unload my car?

There is limited parking available for check-in and you'll be able to park to unload belongings for 30 minutes.

When can I move in?

You can check in at any point from the start date of your tenancy. You can find your start date in your tenancy agreement or by logging into MyAccount here.

Common area
You'll have access to Chaucer House's facilities. There are a number of relaxation zones in different areas of the building. There are two common rooms, located on the first floors of Blocks A & B, including games areas with table tennis, pool and foosball, plus chillout spaces with sofas and TVs.

Study space
There are two study rooms located on the 3rd and 6th floors.

Gym
There is a gym that is free to use for all residents living in our building. This is open between the hours of 7am - 10pm, and is accessed with a gym membership/key card.

Laundry facilities
There are three laundry rooms at Margaret Rule Hall, located on the 2nd, 4th and 5th floors. Machines are operated through the Circuit Laundry App.

Parking
There is no parking available at Margaret Rule Hall.

Bike storage
The bike store is located at Greetham Street, adjacent to the property with and a key/pass will be required for access. If you are planning on bringing your bike, please remember to bring your own bike lock.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are available at Margaret Rule Hall.

Fire test time and meeting point
Fire alarms are fitted throughout the property. Your fire alarm test day is Tuesday at 10am. Your fire assembly point is at the Isambard Brunel NCP Car Park on Charles Dickens Street..
