Homes For Students Transfer - August 2025

The properties listed below have been sold by Unite Students, and will be managed by Homes For Students from 29/08/2025.

All Unite Students customers currently living in the properties listed below, and those who have a booking for the next academic year will be contacted by email to explain what’s happened, and what it means for them.

No, the property name will stay the same after the transfer.

If we are still working on resolving your complaint, we will continue to see this through. Our teams will continue to keep in contact with you until it is resolved.

You can disclose a disability at any time by contacting reception at your property.

If you're currently living with us, you'll be able to continue to use your Unite Students account for the duration of your booking in the 24/25 academic year. If you have rebooked for 25/26, your account will transfer to Homes For Students from September.

You should continue to manage your booking in MyAccount on the Unite Students website.

Please note, if you have also made a booking for 25/26, your account will transfer to Homes For Students in September.

Your policy will remain the same and your policy will continue to be valid until the end of your tenancy.

Yes, you can still receive a reference for your time at Unite Students. You can request this directly from the property team at the property.

No. Your booking will be transferred to Homes For Students from September, and there are no changes to the tenancy agreement you have already accepted.

Homes For Students will be using the same terminology as Unite Students to classify rooms. You can check the Homes For Students website, or contact reception at your property if you would like to check the room information.

Please contact reception at your current Unite Students property to request further details on how to do this, and have the relevant bank account information ready. Payments will be processed by Unite Students until the transfer to Home For Students in September.

No, Homes For Students will honour any agreed payment schedules.

If you want to change to a different payment schedule, you’ll need to speak to your property team, or contact the reception at your property to see if this is possible.

If you'd like to move in early, you might be able to do this. This is dependent on availability at your property. Please contact the property team at reception for further information.
