About Leeds

What can you look forward to in Leeds?

null Students

Leeds is the country's fourth-largest urban economy, making it a great place for its 250,000 students to thrive. The city’s three universities – the University of Leeds, Leeds Trinity University and Leeds Beckett University – are also easy to get to from our student accommodation, so all you need to focus on is achieving your goals and having fun!

null Sporting spotlights

With Headingley Stadium playing home to the Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club and the Yorkshire County Cricket Club sports fans will find plenty of action in Leeds. Elland Road stadium is home to Leeds United Football Club, and is just a short trip from our Leeds student accommodation. And if you’ve still got some energy after all that, why not enjoy some track and field at Leeds City AC, one of northern England’s biggest athletics clubs?

null Evening entertainment

Few cities can claim to have a night scene as vibrant as Leeds. Whether you’re looking to party, laugh, drink or dance, there’s plenty on offer. You’ll find a real mix of clientele at the ever-popular Oporto. Or take your pick from six themed bars at the Pryzm club. Excellent drinks and a lively atmosphere can be found across two floors at Smokestack. Or for great comedy and music the Hifi Club is famed for its friendly basement nights.

null Foodie focus

Whether you’re hungry for hamburgers or craving calamari, Leeds has a huge variety of cafés, restaurants, bistros and brasseries for you to sink your teeth into, all just a short distance from our student flats. There are nationally popular favourites such as Wagamama, Bella Italia, The Living Room, Loch Fyne and Café Rouge, as well as exclusive-to-Leeds eateries like the magical medieval setting at Hazlewood Castle, and the interactive Japanese cuisine experience at Wasabi Teppan-yaki.

null Culture corners

When it comes to culture Leeds has got it all. From Roundhay Park – one of the biggest city parks in Europe – to Leeds City Museum – home of the famous ‘Leeds Tiger’ – you’ll find getting to know the nature, art and history of your new home city easy from our student flats.  And with renowned events like the Leeds West Indian Carnival and Leeds Festival and Light Night you’ll always have a choice of ways to enjoy the city’s culture.
