Social Scenes
The property is surrounded by local bars and restaurants great for students, most of which offer great student discounts. Literally on the door step of the property are 2 of the oldest pubs in Liverpool. The Roscoe Arms and The Roscoe Head are both great places to try a real, authentic pint in the heart of Liverpool. Hardman Street is one of the fastest growing social quarters in Liverpool. A few local favourites are Hannah`s bar which is 1 minute from the property and offers great value drinks and food, a great place to meet people and socialise. The burgers are amazing and it’s a great place to watch the football or any sporting event. The Fly In The Loaf Pub is only 2 minutes up the road and offers a wide range of cocktails, wine or beer. Whatever you favourite tipple this is a great meeting place to start off your night out in Liverpool.
 
If you want to venture further then Bold Street is a 5 minute walk down the road and here you will find many restaurants for you to socialise with friends or take your family when they come to visit. Just off Bold Street is Concert Square, this is the main area for student nights out and no doubt be somewhere you will visit time and time again during your time in Liverpool, great student drinks offer s and great student events on most nights – The Walkabout bar is famous for its Monday nights.
 
You can have a great night out and will not need to factor in the cost of a taxi ride home as you will be living right in the heart of Liverpool city centre.

If you are thinking of keeping fit while you live in Liverpool, or if you are thinking of taking up a new hobby, there will be a lot for you to choose from. 
 
There are many local GYMs for you to choose from prices starting from £9.99 – £29.99 for student memberships, there are over 15 GYMs across the city centre.
 
A 10 minute walk from your property we have another property called Grand Central, here we have a GYM on site and, as a student living with Unite Students, you would be welcome to use the facilities. There is no charge.
 
Your University will have many sports clubs on offer for you to join all of which have access to top of the range sporting facilities all of which will be within a reasonable walking distance of St Luke`s View. Enquire with your University or the Student Union for more information.
 

Close and convenient

Travel and Transport
From St Luke`s View you will be able to walk to most places on a daily basis and you are surrounded by everything you could possibly need.
 
For the times when you are going to explore Liverpool or venture out of the centre then you will have many transport options.
 
There are over 50 different bus routes out of the city centre.
 
There are 5 main train stations in the city centre, the closest to your property is Liverpool Central Station which has links to all the surrounding stations taking your around the city or out of the city.
 
Liverpool Lime Street Station is the biggest station and is the link for trains to other cities such as Manchester which is a great place to visit day or night if you have never visited before it really is worth doing – there is a direct train that takes 35 minutes and leaves twice every hour.
 
You will also be 20 minutes from the National Express Coach Station in case you fancy a scheduled trip to somewhere like Alton Towers, Lego Land, etc.
 
If you have your own vehicle or somebody coming to visit you has then there are many reasonably priced parking options all within 5 minutes of the property.
 
Local Essentials
2 minutes from the property there are Sainsbury`s and Tesco supermarkets.
 
5-10 minutes further there are many local shops and businesses for all your grocery needs.
 
If it’s a Chinese supermarket you are looking for, then a 5 minute walk will take you into the heart of China Town where you will have more to choose from than you can imagine.
 
The city centre has over 30 banks including all the main names – TSB/Lloyds/Nat West/Santander/HSBC, etc. 10 minute walk and you will have access to all of this and more.
 
There is also a large public library which is about a 15-20 minute walk from St Luke`s View.

Your University will offer various locations where you can get health advice and seek wellbeing advice or get information regarding student finances and best practices.

The SU is based 10 minutes from St Luke`s View and they too have a team of experts on site to be able to help and support you if ever you need it.
 
The Royal Liverpool Hospital and the Dental Hostpial is a 15 minute walk from your property should you ever require assistance. 
 
There are many chemists around the City for any medication needs – Lloyds Pharmacy and Boots all within walking distance.
