Property features

With both the Newcastle University and Northumbria University within a 15-minute walk, Quay Point is ideally situated for the 695 students that call it home. What’s more, the heart of the city is only 10 minutes away, making it easy to enjoy all that Newcastle has to offer.

Opt to live in Quay Point (previously known as Liberty Quay) and you’ll have a choice of en-suite rooms, giving you your very own bathroom. In addition to this, rooms come with a comfortable bed, study desk and plenty of storage. As you’ll be sharing a fully-fitted kitchen and living space with your flatmates, mealtimes offer a great chance to socialise.

Away from your flat, there’s plenty of space to relax and socialise with your friends. The common room has comfortable seating, a TV area and foosball, while an outdoor courtyard and BBQ area gives you space to venture outdoors if the sun is shining. Feeling active? Our on-site gym is waiting whenever you want to work up a sweat.

Being so close to the city centre, you’ll have no shortage of options when you’ve got time to spare. There are hundreds of shops, pubs and restaurants, while several multi-screen cinemas are perfectly placed for a few hours of light entertainment. Head to the Quayside on sunny days and you’ll be able to enjoy a beautiful walk along the River Tyne.
