The rooms are fitted with a 3/4 size bed, your own private shower room and a Wi-Fi connected study space. Studios also have facilities that can be used with ease and plenty of space for your belongings, with a wardrobe, under-bed storage, drawers and shelves.

Just 6 minutes’ walk away from Greetham Street you have the Portsmouth Guildhall and the Pyramids Centre, and only a miles walk to Gunwharf Quays which hosts a mixture of pubs and bars, and indulge your taste buds with a fantastic line up of cafes and restaurants.
 
Being a short walk from Portsmouth University, Greetham Street also gives you immediate access to the Students' Union, which is a great place to meet new people and socialise.
 
For those seeking student nightlife, there are a variety of bars within short walking distance, such as Liquid & Envy & The Whetherspoons, as well as Gunwharf Quay being home to many more like Tiger Tiger. 
 
Greetham Street is in the heart of Portsmouth where you will find a wide range of shopping opportunities, where you can peruse the Gunwharf Quays for designer goods, in less than 10 minutes you can hit Commercial Road and the Cascades Shopping Centre for your high street favourites or if you are shopping for that unique purchase then in 5 minutes you could be at Southsea for antique goods, vintage clothing and bohemian felt shops.

Getting Active
Portsmouth is a fantastic place to go running, with plenty of scenic paths to adventure right on your doorstep. Greetham Street has easy access to a range of outdoor activities with plenty of green areas and sport facilities, like the Charter Community Sports Centre which is basically next door. If you prefer to spectate then just over a miles stroll will have you watching Portsmouth F.C play a home game at Fratton Park. 
 
Portsmouth University offers a wide range of activities, exercise classes, sports leagues and competitions, and sports-related coaching courses which students can get involved with. There's also the opportunity to join in on one of the many fitness classes on campus including Zumba and circuit training, as well as the facilities to partake in basketball, badminton, table tennis, netball or five-a-side football.

Travel and Transport
Greetham Street is perfectly located right next to Portsmouth and Southsea train station, so you have the best transport link in and out of Portsmouth right on your doorstep. Portsmouth is a walkable city, so everything is accessible on foot, but if not Greetham street has great access to bus lines, but speak to a member of staff and they will be more than happy to offer guidance on getting around town.
Local Essentials
Greetham Street has a Sainsburys Local only 7minutes walk away, so you can grab the essentials without venturing too far from home. The Cascades Shopping Centre is only 7 minutes away and this offers over 50 shops and outlets. Commercial road is home to a lot of the essentials you may need, including banks, building societies, pharmacies and more, and Commercial Road is also only 7 minutes away.
 
Larger supermarkets can be found in the city centre, including ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Spar. These are all either a short walk or taxi ride away.

Southsea Medical Centre, Somers Town Health Centre and Guildhall Walk-In Health Centre are all less than 10minutes walk from Greetham Street, as well as SWITCH and Portsmouth Counselling Services, which offer great services from sexual health drop-in clinics, financial advice and emotional support and counselling.
