Ways to pay

You can secure a booking for your Aberdeen student accommodation through:

  1. Direct debit
  2. Card payment
  3. UnionPay (for International students)

You can either pay in one, three or seven instalments when you make your booking. All Unite Student properties have bills included, meaning no unexpected additional costs.

Although we don’t ask for a deposit, an advance rent may be required. This is a fraction of the full-year amount, and we put this towards your first rent instalment so it doesn’t cost extra.

If you intend to pay in full, you’ll still need a guarantor. This is someone over 25 who can guarantee payments will be maintained if you’re unable to pay rent on time – for example, a parent or legal guardian.

Direct debit

Payments are automatically taken from your bank account.
Y

Pay by card

Choose to pay the full amount, or instalments, via a debit or credit card. We take Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro.

UnionPay

If you’re an international student who is unable to use direct debit to pay, choose UnionPay.
