If the person responsible for the damage accepts responsibility, they’ll be charged for the repair.
If no one accepts responsibility for damage in a shared area, the cost will be shared equally between everyone in the flat.
If something is damaged, even by accident, please report a maintenance request on the Unite Students app or to your Property Team as soon as possible. Reporting damage early means we can arrange repairs and may help you avoid charges when you move out.
